Hi, anyone who is still linked to this blog after these months have passed. I am moved, on the threshold of this Jewish New Year, to reach back out to you who went through that tremendously difficult piece of this last year, to mark together in some way the close of the year that held those times, and welcome together a new fresh year, just about to open itself to us all.

I began my journey as a Peace Corps Volunteer on February 18, 2008. I am a Small Enterprise Development volunteer in Madagascar. I graduated from Purdue University in December 2006 with a B. I worked for Ameriprise Financial in 2007, before being invited to serve in the Peace Corps.

Emerson is widely published in design and lifestyle magazines and books. She was also the West Coast Editor of Budget Living magazine. Although her work is primarily on the West Coast, Emerson has completed residences in NYC, Fire Island, Sagaponack, Westport, Jackson Hole, Banff and Western Massachusetts.
